Jade Leah Burns is your favorite ray of sunshine from one of the most snowiest cities in America, Erie, Pennsylvania. With a color coded binder and mechanical pencil in hand, she's your glamorous go-to gal who knows how to get the job done in a speedy manner with intense specificity and dignity. When Jade is not rehearsing or writing the latest news story, you will find her pumping out a set at her local gym. She is also the current reigning Miss Erie USA 2021. Jade graduated from Long Island University in May of 2022 in Honors College and on the Dean's List. Jade discovered her passion for theatre and communications at a young age. Jade launched the first freshman class participation approval of communications for her high school. Climbing the ladder, Jade became the production manager of the station where she produced and edited stories, anchored, and made and edited videos. Jade has over 5,000 volunteer hours at her local community theatre, where she found her love of theatre at the age of eight. Jade took the opportunity to pursue her dreams in college. After years of writing for her University newspaper and online website, creating content for their station, and being cast in a production every semester of her college career, it's time for Jade to spread her wings and find her one true passion in the real world. Jade is currently a Morning News Producer and New Reporter for JET24ABC, FOX66, and yourerie.com where you can also find her in your living room delivering the latest breaking news at 6:00pm. Being a performer and journalist, Jade likes to think of herself as the main character. She would LOVE for you to tag along and join her story.
